Secrets of Running An Educational Theatre Program

The SOURCE is an award-winning and successful peer education program created by Planned Parenthood of Southwest and Central Florida, Inc.  Headquartered in Sarasota, with programs operating in both Saraota and Tampa, The SOURCE presents innovative and thought-provoking theatre productions for thousands of youth and young adults both in Florida and across the country.  Combining professional theatre concepts with an extensive human sexuality curriculum, The SOURCE has proven itself to be a highly effective teaching method for more than 20 years.

Planned Parenthood of Southwest and Central Florida, Inc., is offering one and two day training sessions to help you get your agency on the way to having a successful educational theatre.  Training sessions are tailored to fit individual organizations and communities and can include: qualities of a good director, defining your vision, recruitment, invitational theory and adolescent development, theatre skills, play development, building professionalism and directing skills, incorporating prevention messages, marketing and public relations, and funding and grant writing ideas.
