The Tampa SOURCE Teen Theatre is an exciting and fun theatre program for high school students who want to help educate their peers in an innovative and creative way. SOURCE members meet every Wednesday from 4:30 until 6:30 to learn theatre skills, acting techniques, public speaking, debate and playwriting as well as issues of importance to teens such as healthy decision-making, peer pressure, teen pregnancy, AIDS and drug abuse.  The Tampa SOURCE is sponsored by Planned Parenthood of Southwest and Central Florida.

S.K.I.T.

What is S.K.I.T.? SOURCE Kids InTraining is a program for Middle School students. Like the SOURCE, S.K.I.T. members learn important life skills and enjoy games and activities that help them to be creative thinkers and effective actors. S.K.I.T. is run by SOURCE and VOICE members and is tons of fun! S.K.I.T. meets every Monday from 5:00 until 6:30.

The VOICE

The VOICE is a Peer Education program for high school and college aged students. You must be in tenth grade or higher to be eligible. VOICE members meet on Mondays after school. VOICE members are trained in scientifically based sexuality content and invitational teaching techniques. VOICE members deliver classes to groups of teens at various centers and run the S.K.I.T. program.

 The Education Department offers excellent professional training in sexuality education as well as a vast array of exciting classes for all age groups. Planned Parenthood prides itself in always offering high quality programming using the most current, scientifically based, pedagogically sound and age appropriate, comprehensive sexuality education.
